Wax & Wings is the brainchild of myself and fellow artist and author, Artemis Burnett. Born from our shared experiences as mentees in Hardy Fowler’s Concept Art Academy—and years as friends and colleagues in various art communities—this collaboration is all about applying the skills we’ve gained, the lessons we’ve learned, and the creativity we continue to cultivate into something tangible.

With fresh eyes, vivid imaginations, and a shared love of mythology, we’re bringing our own creative spin on a new reimagining of the story of Hades and Persephone.
