Sharing these rough sketches is always… difficult? They never look finished. It doesn’t help that I was pressed for time to get things done. But this is what I came up with.

Since the challenge I entered was to revisit an old piece, this is the one I chose to reimagine. It visits the same theme of being surrounded by oppressive darkness, shadows closing in and threatening to consume, but there is always a spark of light to guide the way.
